Tempe Regatta Pointe Condos

by Rod Rebello on July 2, 2008

I just submitted an offer for a short sale Regatta Pointe condo for one of my clients. They were looking for a condo near Tempe Town Lake, with easy access to ASU and the new light rail system. And they didn’t want want to pay the higher prices of the highrise lake condos.

Built in 2002, Regatta Pointe has some of the least expensive condos adjacent to the lake. It’s across the street from the new Tempe Center for the Arts, Tempe Beach Park, and very near downtown Tempe. The complex is gated, requiring a gate code or a gate key to access the interior of the complex.

The highest priced condos are located in a separate building with direct lake views. The larger main complex is behind those surrounding the pool and fitness areas. Some of the units in this complex have side lake views from their balcony. All units include a 1 or 2 car garage.

Negatives include the nearby railroad tracks with frequent trains that loudly blow their horn as they run by, and the frequent low flying airliners as they come in for a landing at Sky Harbor Airport. But my client is willing to put up with these issues for the convenience of the location.

Here are current Regatta Pointe condos for sale:
