A party was held on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 along the last segment of the Southeast Valley Loop 202 to be completed. The new 4.5 mile section from University Drive to Power Road officially opens for traffic on Monday, July 21st. Here’s an overview of the complete loop.
Discussions are ongoing about the possibility of extending the 202 into the West Valley around South Mountain to link up with Interstate 10 West.
