Someone recently ran a search on my blog to find what counties are covered by the Arizona Regional Multiple Listing Service (ARMLS). Since I did not have this info on my blog, I thought I’d go ahead and discuss it here.
ARMLS can carry listings for all 15 Arizona counties. However, only Realtors that are members of ARMLS can add listings, whether the properties are local to the Phoenix area, or in other parts of Arizona.
To be a member of ARMLS, the Realtor must be affiliated with a broker that is a member of one of the area associations that partner with ARMLS. These include the Western Pinal Association of Realtors, the West Maricopa County Association of REALTORs, the Phoenix Association of REALTORS, the Scottsdale Area Association of REALTORS, and the Southeast Valley Regional Association of REALTORS.
Although ARMLS can carry listings for all counties, it won’t have all listings carried by another Arizonal MLS, such as TARMLS in the Tuscon area. For example, ARMLS will only have the Tucson area listings added by an ARMLS associated Realtor. The majority of Tucson listings will only be found in the TARMLS system. At this writing there are over 5,000 Tucson single family home listings in the TARMLS system, and only 31 in ARMLS.
