Up to now, the several new Tempe, AZ speeding and red light photo radar vans and cameras have only been used to issue warning citations. The honeymoon is over. If you plan to speed drive through Tempe starting midnight December 1st, you should be aware that a new photo radar policy will be in effect which will give you a fine of about $160. Tempe has two methods of enforcement, photo radar vans with schedules posted here, and fixed locations including intersections for red light violations. Let that Lamborghini try to get through Tempe without a ticket!
